I wanted something that would … 1- Play DVD’s 2- Play Live TV 3- Record TV 4- Have the ability to Pause / Rewind / Fast Forward Live TV 5- Have an integrated Guide 6- Play Blu-ray 7- Play Divx / MP3 and other formats 8- Have the ability to watch and record TV simultaneously 9- Support 5.1 & or 7.1 surround sound 10- Have the ability to play games 11- Have the ability to function as a lite internet device Yes thats a pretty big list I know. I started my build with modest parts but have since upgraded several times and continue to upgrade almost monthly. The Craftsman LT4000 18HP 42″ Deck Riding Mower
I have a fair sized lawn that takes a few hours to cut with a standard push mower. A few years ago I picked up a walk behind style mower with a decent size engine. It was already old and tired when I purchased it and is only getting more tired with each cut. I replaced the air filter, blade and spark plug which bought it a little more time but it has definitely seen it’s better days. I decided to pay a friend who is out of work to mow my lawn using my equipment and my gas, this cost me $40 and as I started doing the math $40 x twice a month for 6 months a year = $480. With that number in mind I started thinking it would be much more beneficial if I just bought a riding mower for around $500 and continued to cut the grass myself.
